Many applications
Macro photography, although we quite rightly associate it with the photography of small creatures, also gives us many opportunities for creative fun in the studio/house, in portraiture, in product photography and much more! We are limited only by our own creativity. Let yourself be inspired and see what tricks Andrew Hemming showed in his apartment!

Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen — Robert Bresson
Macro photography allows you to discover a new world that you may not have noticed before. Thanks to it, you can make many photographers' dreams come true - that is, show the viewers what they would never see without us. For nature lovers, it is also a perfect opportunity to combine business with pleasure and spend a weekend in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. On the other hand, if we prefer to have control over every aspect of the frame, close ourselves to many hours of shooting in our own studio - macrophotography will also meet our creative requirements. See the video in which Fotoblysk presents ideas for effective macro photos.

Magnification
According to the definition, created back in the analogue times, macrophotography was a type of photography in which the object was reproduced in at least the same size as in reality. In short - to be considered "macro" a photo taken with an analog camera had to present the photographed object in its natural size or the object enlarged.

Godox + Irix make a great duo
The included Irix 150mm lens is a modern and versatile telephoto macro lens that is ideal for macro photography. It will be appreciated by both experienced photographers and beginners taking their first steps in this field of photography. What makes the Irix 150 mm f/2.8 a true macro lens is its 1:1 image scale, which is already available at a minimum distance of 0.345 m. The bright f/2.8 optics enable shorter exposure times, and the 150mm focal length provides the perfect compromise between a narrow angle of view and a comfortable working distance, whether for macro photography, product photography or portraiture. The lenses are available with Canon EF, Nikon F and Pentax mounts. The featured version is Dragonfly.

Key features of the Dragonfly version:
Reinforced internal construction based on metal elements
Scratch-resistant finish
Anti-slip focusing ring with special finish for easy focusing
Engraved markings filled with UV reactive paint
Excellent weather-sealing to protect against dust and water
Hard case included

MF12 K2
To make it as versatile as possible, you'll find Godox MF12 macro lights in the kit, along with mounting rings and other accessories. Even if you are shooting outdoors in daylight, there are times when the amount of light may not be sufficient. You may also want to use lighting to create a different mood, fill in shadows, or add more color to your photos. The MF12 allows you to take beautiful and sharp pictures of small subjects such as plants, animals, and insects at very close range. The MF12 can be used alone or combined with other flashes. Interesting effects and more control over the light will be provided by attaching multiple units to the mounting ring.

The powerful built-in lithium battery supports maximum 500 full-power flashes and 0.01-1.7s recycling time, which guarantees a long-time creation without interruption. When the power runs down, you can easily recharge it through a type-c cable.

The magic of flash
See what benefits flash reveals to us when we can modify it, set it, and most importantly, have control over it.
