Godox MG1200Bi with TIPA 2023 award and wide range of accessories

Godox MG1200Bi was awarded the title of best professional LED lamp in the TIPA World Awards 2023. It was appreciated for its maximum power of 1200 W available in the full range of color temperatures (2800K-6500 K), but also for its robust and well-thought-out design. Additional advantages of the lamp are CRI and TLCI coefficients of 96 and stepless brightness adjustment in 0.1% increments. A wide range of control options are also available, such as control on a controller, via DMX 512, LumenRadio CRMX Control, Godox Light app (Bluetooth), ethernet (supports Art-Net & SACN protocol) or on an accessory RC-11 controller or Godox remote controls.

New Mount

The new mounting system marks a revolutionary step forward and a new chapter for the entire upcoming professional lighting system. The Bowens type mount worked well for small and weaker units. For larger, more powerful lights and professional applications, we used the Godox G Mount.

G-system accessories are equipped with contacts, which provides a function for the lamp to recognize modifiers, generating a more energy-efficient and effective lighting process.

Selection of modifiers

We also unveiled a sizable set of accessories and modifiers. The all-new G-mount includes optimized reflectors of various shapes, a 14-inch Fresnel lens and a projection attachment with interchangeable lenses. Spherical softboxes, parabolic softboxes, strip softboxes or standard octaboxes in various sizes round out the accessory offerings. Godox has also introduced flag sets for filmmakers, which are ideal for use on sets. Dedicated light stands (including those with a 40 kg lifting capacity and 450 cm working height) have not been forgotten either.

MG1200Bi, reflectorsand flags are already available in the store. Other modifiers should go on sale soon.
