Lighting modifiers

Direct light from flashes and LED lights is fairly intense and casts contrasted shadows on the photographed subject. Although it is occasionally applied in this way to produce a certain effect, this is not always how it is intended to appear in images. Because of this, extra accessories known as light modifiers are utilized to precisely modify its characteristics to meet the shooting requirements. A softbox is the most widely used method for lighting modeling. Useful alternatives for those on a tighter budget include photographic umbrellas.
